Research disciplines at the University - an option

The Discipline Database can be used optionally to present reseach achievements and activities in defined disciplines.

The database should be created according to the university authorities and should take into account the meaningful research areas present at the university

Note: Discipline Database cannot be changed by editors. Only a person with administrator privileges has the ability to make changes to these objects, who can also make global changes. After each change in the descriptions of units in the disciplines tree, it is necessary to use the 'Reset Disciplines Tree' button (to be sure, 2 times) located above the disciplines tree, because only then the changes made are actually reflected in the system.

Once defined the available disciplines can be assigned to the emplyed researchers. Having done this we have autoamtical assigned of the researcher’s achievements to the disciplines that are assigned to the researcher. hence, for the chosen disciplines the KB system automatically build profiles which summariaze and represent achievements of the disciplines.
