The Activities taxonomy categorizes information on the professional activities of scientists conducted during a certain period of time, e.g. : participation in editorial boards of journals, organizing conferences, managing scientific associations, holding some positoins in national or international organizations. In Activities, in addition to information on professional activities, metadata on domain experts and experts for the media are collected.
The taxonomy is available when defining activities of partcular researcher. The administrator has the authority to change the taxonomy, add new groups and activity types.
Note: removing activities when some researchers have the given catogory registered is not recomended. If needed, first such activities should be removed from the researchers activities.

There are currently 10 activity type groups with 30 activity types.
