Main Menu functions in detail

The Research Knowledge Base (RKB) collects data on various aspects of the scientific and research activities of employees of a given institution, i.e.:

  • text documents

  • publications (articles, books, scripts)

  • diploma theses (including doctoral theses)

  • reports

  • translations

  • architectural, design and artistic works, literary works, etc.

  • research data

  • projects

  • patents, products, implementations

  • professional activity

  • professional achievements

  • laboratory descriptions

  • descriptions of research equipment

  • competitions announced by institutions financing grants.

This data is used in the system to build profiles:

  • organizational units

  • scientists

The Knowledge Base allows you to

  1. perform search on all the types above

  2. generate various reports concerning the specific types.

 

For example the researcher can generate report about his/her achievements, statistics, cooperation, activity, citations, etc.).
