Functions of the Catalogue Manager

The main tasks of the Research Equipment Catalogue (REC) Manager with regard to the content contained in REC are related to the responsibilities of managing the REC database. In other words, the functionalities of the REC Manager include monitoring the work of departmental editors and equipment managers, assessing the quality of data in REC, monitoring and reporting on the use of equipment at the university and/or at particular departments.

Accordingly, the REC Manager has access to the following functionalities (Figure 1):

  1. Access to research teams with the functions of

    1. creating teams,

    2. deleting and modifying teams,

  2. access to the REC module screens in the Editor's panel

    1. full access to the Research Infrastructure function

    2. full access to the Research and Development Services function
