Entering a series record can be initiated from the event start screen:

After clicking on the New Event button, the user has a choice - he/she can enter a new series or can enter an event:

Form selection

It is not recommended to use this option to enter events if they belong to a series. Instead, it is recommended to enter events in a series from the series screen.

The series form is shown in the figure below:

To define an event, one has to enter a title, at least in one of the languages (Polish or English) and mandatory fields (marked with an asterisk):

  1. Organizing unit - selection from the list of university units - several units can be selected

  2. Start date and end date - these are the dates of the series (e.g. the beginning of the semester and the end of the semester). Single events belonging to the series should fall within this range;

  3. Form of organization: remotely. stationary, hybrid; depending on the choice, additionally meeting place or URL

It is also recommended to fill-in the remaining fields:

  1. In the Organizer field, select the organizer of the seminar series from the list (university employee).

  2. Similarly, you can optionally add a seminar secretary. He or she will have access to edit the series and individual events. It is a selection from the list of university employees

  3. A co-organizing unit can be added if it is an external unit;

  4. If the series is related to the team activity, you can add a research team from the list of teams;

  5. Dissemination level: if you want, in addition, the series to be visible higher than on the profile of the organizing unit. This means that if the institute wants to "publish" the series on the departmental page, it selects the department in question from the list of affiliations in this field.

  6. If the contact and email data are different from the address of the organizer and/or secretary, you can complete these fields;

 

It is also recommended to fill-in the fields

  1. Description in Polish and English

  2. Keywords in these languages
