Entering an event record

The event form is shown in the figure below:

Event form

To define an event, enter a title, at least in one of the languages (Polish or English), and mandatory fields (marked with an asterisk):

  1. In the speaker field, select a speaker from the list (university employee) or add a person (if outside the university's staff; for a person outside the university, in addition to the name, first name and affiliation, you can enter a short bio

  2. Start time - enter the day and time of the start and end of the event

  3. Form of organization: remote. stationary, hybrid)

It is also recommended to fill in the remaining fields:

  1. Organizer - the person organizing the seminar

  2. Descriptions in Polish and English

  3. Keywords in these languages

You can also connect a seminar to a series.

It is not recommended to use this option to enter events if they belong to a series. It is recommended to enter events in a series from the series screen.
