Aims and objectives of the module

The primary purpose of the research data module is to enable university researchers to deposit research data in such a way that the requirements of research data repositories are met, particularly those requirements imposed by national and international grant funders. This imposes a number of conditions that have been included in the module. They can be grouped according to their nature into:

1. Organizational

2. Technical

   1. related to the capabilities of the system, its functionalities and characteristics

   2. related to the implementation of certain procedures related to data security

In addition to the above considerations, it is extremely important that the module disseminates knowledge of the University's researchers' research data to the world. Thus, we also distinguish functionalities related to the "visibility" of research data in the world (both by end users and in major global information services. Therefore, the requirements of major global scientific information providers are taken into account.
