Configuration Console

The configuration console allows you to configure the system by enabling/ disable various functionalities of the system depending on the readiness to use these functionalities at the Institution. The appearance of the console is shown in Figure 15.1.

A list of all switches is presented in an excel form by Attachment 3. Switches are grouped in groups such that most switches are assigned to a specific group with specific functionality associated with them. For each switch, it is additionally possible to define permissions (column Permissions) and properties (column Properties). The Description column shows a description of the functionality that can be enabled/disabled with the switch. In the Actions column there is an edit icon, when clicked you enter the editing state of the switch and you can dock permissions and properties - they will work if the switch is enabled.
