Conferences (titles)

In the Conference database, titles of conferences listed in the Web of Science are entered. Only the administrator has the authority to enter and assign credits.

The names are used as authority file for creating specific conference events, which, on the other hand can be used for bibliographic description of conference papers.

The current list

Conferences (titles) contains the titles of conferences from the Web of Science list, without a description of the place and year of the conference.

The list of conferences from WoS has been downloaded to the repository by the database administrator and shoulde be successively supplemented at the request of editors by the application administrator or an editor with extended privileges..

Note: If needed, one can load there the conferences from another source, e.g. from the Core portal (http://portal.core.edu.au/conf-ranks/)

Th field Category is dictionary controlled. One can change the values of the dictionary type conference_category, according to the specific needs.
