This type of data is used to enrich RDF views of all types of records by references to the main Link Open Data resources, like e.g. MeSH thesaurus, Wikidata. For exmaple in the case of devices stored in the KB one can link them to Wikidata, provided that wikidata is defined as a data source in your KB.

The access to the data sources in KB is

Editor’s panel → Auxiliary Functions → Data sources

Currently in KB we store 15 data sources (system owned, i.e. their changes are not recommended):

Such record can be used in all the basic records of KB. For example the researcher record has in the tab Profile → Descriptions the field LOD:

If the researcher has some profiles in ResearchGate, Academia edu, or a profile in Wikipedia, the links can be added as LOD resource.
