Profiles

The system automatically creates:

• the researchers profiles

• the profiles of the university units (faculties, departments, university profile, which is the root of the university structure tree)

• the profiles of (predefined), both informal or special purpose research teams, which can be appointed for interdisciplinary research, with teammates from various faculties;

Additionally, one can define main scientific disciplines for which the system will also build profiles, useful for monitoring research from the discipline research development point of view.

Once an achievement is imported/entered to the system it is automatically assigned to the respective profiles, unless otherwise decided by the author. The documents deposited in the repository are used to automatically build/update the cloud of tags. Whenever possible the metadata are linked to global databases (Scopus, Web of Science), hence the bibliographic measures (like impact factor, number of citations) are kept up-to-date.
