The type of record is used to enter descriptions of events in the scientist's career that are not functions performed over a period of time, but are events at a specific point in time. Among other things, one enters here achievements of the type:

  • awards and honors

  • obtaining scientific degrees and titles

  • specializations

  • certificates, etc.

 

Before starting to enter data, it is necessary to check whether a record is not already registered in the database. More in the section

The type of achievement is marked on the drop-down tree. It is important to assign an award to the correct category. Most rector's awards for scientific activities are placed in the category - scientific or scientific research activities. In the Awards, Honors category - subcategory Other awards - awards for teaching, organizational and lifetime research achievements are placed. The typology of awards and other professional achievements is defined in the dictionary and can be modified by the staff with the appropriate authorizations.

 

Basic Data

Basic data regarding the achievement is entered here. It is necessary to specify the priority of the achievement (very important, important), associate it with the profile of the person (laureate) to whom the achievement applies, and provide the full name of the achievement in at least one language. In addition, identify the unit or body that awarded the achievement and in which year it occurred. If the achievement is a prize or award then it must be characterized.

In the conditionally mandatory field Profile of the award, the characteristics of the award or honor are entered. You also mark the level of cooperation: individual, team or institutional, and the type of award - domestic or foreign. These data are mandatory for transfer to the POL-on system.

Descriptions

Here you should mark the discipline of science and characterize the achievement using the description and keywords fields. You can attach and archive files confirming the achievement.

Here you can link an achievement to other information available in the database, i.e. other achievements, patent, project, report, thesis, publication.
