Publishing the record

If, as a result of verifying the record, the steward determines that it can be published, you should

  1. When the screen as shown in the figure below appears, select the Publish button

  2. Broadcast DOI (this function is available for the case when the DOI broadcast function is enabled)

Using this button will cause sending a system notification to the author and an email about the record being published.

Publish version

In the case of publishing a version, the procedure is the same as above, except that before publishing takes place, the steward should agree with the author whether the version being introduced is a major version (major changes are made) or a version with minor changes. In the case of a minor version, the step of assigning a DOI is skipped (the system sends information about the new version to DataCite (cf.

).
