Metadata structure for research data

It was assumed that the Research Data Repository is an extension of the existing version of the data repository provided with previous versions of OMEGA-PSIR. Therefore, the definitions of the data structures for the Repository are an extension of the existing structures. In order to accommodate the different needs of individual universities, this extension was discussed in the inter-university group.

In addition, FAIR requirements, recommendations of Linked Open Data, OpenAire, DataCite, as well as the ones resulting from Open Access initiatives are taken into account.
We have also decided that the metadata record can be multilingual: one can selectfor the configuration a leading language for the metadata, additionally it is possible to define metadata in other languages. For the medical research data one can also use MeSH thesaurus for indexing the research data records.
