Cooperation

In the More module, the Collaboration tab shows in graphical and textual form the different levels of collaboration.

The data is presented within three tabs:

  • Internal cooperation

  • External cooperation

  • Cooperation of employees

You can narrow down the data presentation results to:

  • of a given period of cooperation

  • threshold for cooperation, depending on the number of publications or projects.

Double-clicking on an institution or employee icon on the graph will take you to that profile.

If you hover the cursor over the connection between institutions or employees on the graph, the number of their joint publications will be displayed.

Internal cooperation

This is a collaboration between organizational units within a parent unit, or a collaboration of affiliates within those units on their joint projects or publications, for a selected period.

External cooperation

The user can choose to visualize the cooperation in the form of a map.

To use Google maps, two API keys (or one with permissions to both services) must be entered into the system:

  • Maps JavaScript API - to display a map of the collaboration

  • Geocoding API - for geocoding addresses

After entering the keys, the address of the institution must be completed in the affiliation record of the main unit under Profile → Description → Address and Contact Data (without this information, the graph on the map will not be created)..

Cooperation of employees

This is a collaboration of employees on their joint projects or publications for the selected period.

The tab menu displays the disciplines of collaborating employees. Selecting a discipline displays the collaboration for that discipline.

Below each employee's icon is a bar with the color of the discipline or disciplines it represents.
