Modifying records
We start the process of modifying records by searching for records of a specific type. It may be a specific record (searched for, e.g. by identifier) or a set of records that meet given conditions, e.g. with the status Incomplete.
Records entered by scientists (by self-archiving) always receive the Incomplete status, so thsy require editor's intervention. Incomplete records can be identified by selecting the record status: Incomplete on the search screen in the section System Data search
.
On the search results page, such records are highlighted with an additional marking (red triangle).
On the search results page, icons available to editors for modifying records and other actions appear next to each record displayed.
