Multimedia Acquisition Module

The Acquisition module enables the Knowledge Base system to interact with YouTube in terms of viewing and importing multimedia. In particular, this module enables:

• searching channels and YouTube videos by name (just like searching on YouTube),

• searching for channels and videos by source IDs,

• video search within one channel,

• searching for channels already imported to Omega-PSIR,

• preview and ability to watch the video,

• single and mass import of videos and channels to the Omega-PSIR database,

• switching to video and channel editing in Omega-PSIR,

• displaying videos in the channel,

• filter by the date the video or channel was published and by the Channel's Followed flag.

Basic functions

One can perform search in

In Youtube the user can search by keywords (for channels or videos), by identifiers to get a channel, or by identifier to get a movie.

If you know the channel identifier, it is cheaper to perform search by identifier.
