How to add new field in a pivot

Defining a new field in a pivot table using 'psl_id' identifier as an example.

  1. in the Pivot employees report window, check the Show advanced configuration option.

  1. In the open grille, expand the Available Fields tab at the top and look for the Add button in it.

  1. you need to fill in the new field according to the figure below.

Enter the Identifier, Name, EN Name and Entity Type.

The key is the supported completion of the Field Definition - the simplest form is to indicate the "location" of the value you are looking for, but you can also include JS code in this area.

The field is added on the fly as you fill it in, you don't need to approve anything else.

  1. the field should already be available in the list and can use it in the report.

  1. save the report by selecting the 'Overwrite' or 'Save As' button.
