Advanced Search
The advanced search form is available from the simple seach form by clicking the gear icon (in the search line, second on the right:
It allows you to adjust query details, and build an advanced query with logical operators, so that to obtain the most relevant results.
Advanced search forms are adapted to the types of objects currently being searched and take into account their specificity.
The advanced publication search form, available in the Repository module, is discussed below.
In the form, the user can use general criteria to narrow the scope of responses, such as:
range of years of publication (from - to)
publication type
In addition, you can use the text areas where you specify condition for specific fields, like e.g. words from document (any field in the record and attached full text), author, etc.
So, for each line of the query element the user can indicate (Fig. 2)
the attribute for which the part of the query can be defined
the way the terms in the line are interpreted: all means that all terms in the line should occur in the specified field; any means that any of the terms in the line should occur in the specified field in the record
logical operator (AND, OR ANDNOT) to be applied between the attributes
The result can be limited by affiliation or the discipline
