Goals - how to define and use them

The option is available only to the logged-in user. In the standard search form or in the list of search results, one can define goals and monitor their progress.

The defined goal is assigned to the user, but can apply to any range of data, including those not directly related to the user's output. Thus, one can create goals for an organizational unit, individual employees, scientific discipline, to monitor the achievements.

Below is an example of defining a goal and monitoring its progress

  1. Formulate a goal, e.g., for the selected organizational unit - "The number of 2020 publications with total scores greater than 140 exceeds the value of 50."

  2. On the publication search screen, select the range of years (publications from 2020), the point value in the Categories block (number of total points 140), and the organizational unit in the units tree

  3. Click Create Goal

  4. Fill out the form and click Subscribe

You can monitor the progress of the goal by accessing your profile (click the photo/avatar icon in the upper right corner) and selecting Settings..

The level of achievement of the goal will increase with the appearance of new achievements that meet the specified criteria. When the value reaches the threshold - the goal will be marked as achieved.
