Infrastructure

In the Research Potential module, the tab Research Infrastructure collects and presents information about research infrastructure and equipment, as well as, IT infrastructure available at particular organizational units.

The purpose of the Catalog is to provide researchers with an opportunity to

1. find the equipment they need to realize their research goals,

2. create information channels that allow organizing cooperation between teams having at their disposal an equipment and experience in its use, and teams that need such equipment to carry out their research

3. in addition, an important role of the catalog is to disseminate knowledge about the university's resources and research opportunities to the external environment:

   1. development of scientific cooperation with other universities,

   2. development of services for business, and cooperation with industry.

4. Strengthening the image of the University of Technology as a modern research university, oriented towards cooperation with the academic and business environment.

Within the Equipment Directory, any logged-in researcher can make a request for the use of the equipment after finding it.
