On this form, a question mark is visible next to the more important fields - if you hover the mouse, you get additional explanation. In addition, mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk:

  1. Submission title - a short text characterizing the nature of the need to use the apparatus

  2. Request type - when the cursor is placed in this field, the user selects one of the options:

    1. individual - the study reported by the user involves work carried out individually by the user

    2. Team - - the study reported by the user is related to the work carried out by the team on behalf of which the user is acting

  3. Related project - if the demand is due to a project, select a project from the list of projects (just enter a term that identifies the project.

  4. If the need for research is not due to the project, you can check the checkbox
    Proprietary research scientific collaboration, which means that it is about own research;

  5. Quantitative requirements - estimate the scope of the required research (number of hours, number of samples, etc., so that the apparatus supervisor can plan the research;

  6. Consent to release information about the project - in this case, one of the options can be specified:

    1. when the researcher does not want to make information about the use of apparatus for his project (own research) public, he selects the No option.

    2. Otherwise, he chooses one of the options After the start of the research,
      After the end of the project, After the deadline - in the latter case there is a field where the author defines after what date the information about the use of the apparatus can be made public

Filling in the other fields is not mandatory, but it will allow both parties, the requester and the equipment manager, to better plan the execution of the research.

After filling in all the fields, save the request in the database - the Submit button. After saving the request, the ordering party sees his request (only his own) and its status:

  1. pending acceptance

  2. accepted

The apparatus manager receives information about the request in the form of an e-mail and a notification in the UBW system (bell icon at the top right of the screen ). If the tests can be performed, the manager accepts the request, which in turn causes a status change (visible by the requester). If the research cannot be performed, the request is rejected, which causes the requester to receive an e-mail and a notification in the system. Regardless of automatic notifications, it is possible to exchange e-mails of both parties through links to the requester and the manager.
