Linking the service record to the project application

The essential result of the mentoring service is the prepared project proposal. Therefore, the interaction of mentoring modules and projects is organized as follows:

  1. When a mentor accepts a mentoring service in UKB, a standard alert is set up for the mentored person;

  2. Once an application is registered by the COP, the mentored individual receives a notification (and email) that an application has appeared in the application database;

  3. In the notification there is a short information about the registration of the application and a request to connect the application to the mentoring record.

  4. On the mentoring screen appears  a button that allows you to select the mentored application and link it to the mentoring record.

  5. In addition, information about the appearance of the application and connecting it to the mentoring record is communicated by e-mail to the mentor.

The appearance of a link to the application in the mentoring record is additionally visible in the mentoring status. This is a signal for the possible termination of the mentoring service (after consultation  with the mentor).

 

In addition to this standard scenario (proposal writing support), in exceptional cases mentoring can be linked to a project that already has funding). In this case, the Project already exists in UBW, so the person requesting the mentoring service can link the mentoring service record with the application and/or project record beforehand. This can be done during the data entry of the mentoring request.
