Import of publication records by BibTeX/RIS and DOI

Using BibTeX format files, publication metadata can be exported from, for example, ORCID, Google Scholar, BazTech, or bibliography management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero and EndNote, and then imported into the Knowledge Base.

BibTeX import instructions

  1. Click Import Publications

  2. In the Import Publications window, click Bibtex and select from disk the BibTeX file with the metadata of the publication to be imported to your profile

  3. Click Continue

     

  4. The system generates an import report. When importing the data, you may see the message:The downloaded import records may be ambiguous. Indicate the corresponding records from the repository. Select the correct option and click Continue

     

Imported records are not available to the public until approved by the relevant editor. They are marked with a red icon.

 

If the publication has a DOI, it is recommended to enter the bibliographic description using the DOI - this is the surest way to avoid errors in the bibliographic description. This applies to both articles and books.

DOI import instructions

  1. Click Import Publications

     

  2. Paste the DOI value into the DOI field and click Import based on DOI

     

  3. Repeat steps 3-4 from the instructions for importing files in BibTeX format

Imported records are not available to the public until approved by the relevant editor. They are marked with a red icon.
