Fields of study, specialties

The majors and specializations are usually pulled from the University's Student Support System. As the institution needs and changes occur in this area, these changes should also be transferred to this authority file. If a given field of study becomes inactive you should not remove the record. Instead, use the checbox Not active to mark that the field of study is not in use anymore.
