Remaining functions for event (series) management

A person with the events/press role after creating a seminar series has the ability to

  1. modify description of seminar series

  2. managing the speeches

The same capabilities are available to the person designated by the seminar organizer as secretary. Additional functions are available in the series view, as shown in the figure below.

Functions of the seminar organizer

In the Scheduled Events tab, these are the following options:

  1. series editing function (e.g., changing the end date of the series, editing the description, etc.)

  2. Calendar - record in your own calendar (ics file), includes all events scheduled within the series

  3. Help

  4. adding a new speech (e.g., submitted by an outsider)

  5. transition to the description of the event

  6. calendar (includes only the event)

  7. adding a file (e.g. presentation)

  8. editing a single event

  9. cancellation of an occurrence (the occurrence remains on the calendar with the information that it has been canceled); at a later time you can make changes to the event (editing), such as changing the date of the occurrence and/or the speaker and reactivating the occurrence

  10. delete the event (not recommended)

In addition, the Proposals tab stores proposals submitted by potential presenters.

In this tab, the organizer (series) of the seminar has additional 2 functions:

  1. accept the proposal (the proposal goes to the Planned Events tab )

  2. Reject the proposal - the proposal remains in the proposals tab with the status rejected
